Glorious sunsets, scrumptious food, cold Kings beer, an intoxicating night life, eclectic boutique hotels, beautiful architecture, an active and vibrant expat population and friendly locals – Goa, has it all.
While the beaches of North Goa are more suited for the foodie and active sort, those who simply want to relax and unwind should seek out the larger resorts of South Goa.
We have been to Goa countless times for New Year’s Eve (when it wasn’t so commercial), destination weddings, bachelorettes and other such celebrations. Then again, it is also our go-to when we need a break from the frenetic pace of life, to simply recharge our batteries. Goa has that unique ability to go from high octane to easy breezy with much ease and there truly is no place that can warm the cockles of our hearts quite like it can. Despite having vacationed in Goa on average of at least once a year, this is not a place that we will ever tire of.
